PROBLEM: Jerome Avenue is historically industrialized and deserted section of the Bronx. Because of this, Jerome Avenue has been infested with crime and violence for years.

The current owner, a local nonprofit, was unable to secure the necessary zoning changes or variances to develop the land.

SOLUTION: Carthage Advisors has joint-ventured with the local nonprofit to develop a 13-story mixed-use retail and community facility building. The building will consist of 72 residential units, a 10,000 sq ft community facility and a 6,000 sq ft commercial space. The development has received the support of many local politicians and support from the local community.
